GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Steve Strong opened a Five Star Bath Solutions franchise on January 4, to serve the Western Colorado region.
A second-generation plumber, Strong studied business management and completed a four-year plumbing apprenticeship at Utah Valley University. He has worked as a plumber for the past 15 years under the name Steve Strong Plumbing.
Running a business proved to be a lot of work to do on his own. As a result, he began looking at franchising as an alternative option. Strong said, “I saw franchising as a way to own my own business, but not be a one-man show.”
He choose Five Star Bath Solutions because he recognized the advantages of having the support system they offer. Strong said, “The mission and vision of the company is right in line with my ideals and expertise.”
Strong and his wife Alyson have five children, three boys and two girls, ranging in age from 5 to 18.
With his solid background in plumbing, Strong is enthusiastic about excellent customer service. He believes that is achieved by, “doing the job right, being punctual, and doing what I said I would do.”
Strong said of his new business, “I am super excited to finally find a business opportunity that I can get behind and believe in.”
